Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion
I am a first-generation college student born and raised in St. Louis. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2004 with a Masters in K-12 Physical Education. After graduating, I taught Elementary P.E. in St. Louis for 15 years. I have a passion for helping students succeed after so many former teachers and professors have done the same for me which is my way of paying it forward. I’ve been an Academic Advisor & Success Coach and Recruitment Coordinator at Northwest Missouri State University and I am excited to have the role of Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion. I remember exactly what it was like being an underrepresented student going to college many years ago and I'm looking forward to contributing to the success and inclusion of all Bearcats.
